The Department of Electrical Engineering of Government College of Engineering (GECA), Aurangabad is organizing first International Conference on Energy Optimization and Control (ICEOC) 2010 on the completion of the 50th years of the college. The objective is to provide a forum for presentation of latest developments, ideas and their applications to energy, optimization and control strategies. Another major goal is to enhance academic-industry interaction and foster collaboration.
The Government College of Engineering, Aurangabad (GECA), is the premier technical institute in Marathwada region of Maharashtra State. Established in 1960, by the Government of Maharashtra, with the view of catering to technical expertise requirement, this institution has earned well repute in a relatively short period of time. The Department of Electrical Engineering at the Government College of Engineering, Aurangabad has a history of 50 years.
